Off the Set

First things first! I hate impersonaters! Someone, or a few people in the PVPGurl.com chat have been trying to impersonate all of the members, Gigi, Nyhm, Dem, and RedEye. I’m getting pissed off at that, people, simply please don’t do that, it’s rude and in some cases, illegal.
My next point, is Horde in WoW. Two pallies, one Ret, and one Holy were outside of Ulduar tuanting us flagged. My guild and I decided to try to take them. They kept beating us until we brought some more of our members to the field of battle where we finally beat them thanks to Aba’s EPIC Disc healing PvP spec. Then they started calling our main tank, Omnious, out that they could only beat them when it was 2v6. Them being the 2, us being the 6-5. This goes to show how OP pallies are … anyway, if you play WoW, please don’t fluant the other faction …

Whether it happens to you, or someone else, it is so annoying, you could be writing a one thousand page book and then all of sudden have your internet die out and you being the idiot, not save, or something that happens to me more often, playing Warcraft and during a boss fight then lock up and encounter the worse … boss … ever … The Great Error of WoW!

Real life example (Sort of): I was just running Herioc Drak’Theron’s Keep, doing alright, healer got two pieces of gear, then he just disconnects, been waiting for a hour, or almost now.

Music is so awesome. You can virtually listen to music anytime you want, from being a happy go-lucky attitude to a sad depressed attitude, home, work, school, anywhere! There’s a type of music for everyone and everything from Country to Alternative Rock to that Rap Crap. Now, my favorite kind of music is Alternative Rock any day of the week with my favorite band being 3 Doors Down! Now, I do get depressed and I have songs I can listen to such as some Brad Paisley, Highwaymen, Johnny Cash to Billy Ray Cyrus (He’s a good artist, shut up).

What’s your favorite type of music and what band?

One of my friends (Real Life) plays First Person Shooters (FPS) and another one of my friends LOVES to bug him in game, shooting stray bullets, gernades, not using a UAV(?) Jammer so enemies can see him WHICH means they can see my friend. I figured I would get anyone who reads this blog in the mix. If you want to bug my friend, he is Seafury26 and if you want to slap my other friend for being a jerk, he is Darkishunstable. Later all!

YES, I AM a Achievement Whore!

Yes yes, I know this is old news, but I could care less. Xbox Live has shown me nothing, but good things for me. When I first got my Gold Membership, I  introduced to the new Xbox Live Experience, which I quickly learned. I started Fable 2, quickly beat it, played with my two friends.

Allow me to pass a few weeks, I recently got Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and Gears of War 2, I’v almost beat Gears, but then my other friend invited me to a game first of Gears where we were sluaghtering Locust Horde until Wave 9 then went to Call of Duty where we played with his other friends before we got dispersed for some reason.

Next post, until then, I will be on my 360 playing Gears and Call of Duty … online.

Well, let’s just say I sorta died, but then got ressurected by a Blind Seer by the name of Theresa and forced to come back here, but I don’t have any more viewers/readers, hehe. Anyone who still barely checks this, I’ll probably be free writing, nothing in particular, for no one, just whatever the hell I want and also, no rating, hide your young, your old, your weak, and your dead … wait … that last one does not make sense …

A funny test to take your mind off things where it shows how much of a video game addict you really are from if yout hink waiting at a store for a midnight release of a game is stupid, or not to contributing to a video game site to even contributing to a walkthrough, reading one, or even knowing what one is when it says, “Do You Even Know What A Walk-Thourgh Is?”. This is a very funny little fun test to take when your bored, I got a 59% addicted gamer, but I’ll take it another time to try to get to 100%, or as high as it lets me get my addicted level. 59% addicted gives you a cute little Pickachu picture in the HTML(?) link or maybe it’s BB Code, I don;t know!

As some of you know, my guild on Antonidas have been in a slump, so we scooped up the best thirty-one players from Solarian League and Condemned and created Profound! We picked up quite quickly and now progressing onto The Eye and SSC starting Black Temple Sunday! So, that may be why Off the Set was ina  slump of it’s own, sorry, heh. Next post will be something good, I swear it! Anyway, we also have a new contest for the guild over at Profound.forumotion.net. I’ve recently discovered a new machinima artist (kinda), which if you follow me on Twitter, you would see me kinda talking to her a little. It’s one person, amybe one other person sometimes, I don’t know, I just started listening to her songs two days ago? I think so. The first song I heard was thanks to Machinima called “Grind It Up” talkigna bout rep and Arathi Basin PvP. I liked it, I rated it five stars on Youtube, may of favorited it, can’t remember. I checked out her other songs after that like “Mana Biscuits”, “I Trolled a Troll”, “Archimonde’s Vacation” and a lot more! I must say, she is awesome! i will tell you, she is not a singer, so she’s no Billy Cyrus, or uhh … whatever else you kids listen to, she was just one person that oen day decided, “You know what, I’m going to make a song”, you The Spark/TheX fans will remember that from the old WCRadio days. So, go check her out, you will be impressed unless of course … well, you know … you have no soul, lol. See you all later!

I, every few days check on a guild website since I have worked closely with them in WoW and such and one day, I found this neat little article “sayer kai” wrote, I figured because right now with school and all and since I’m in a slump, I’d let you guys give little giggles, if you’re not married, it would probably help you a ton with a loved one and get you to have more time for something like WoW as this was written for, I assume. Without further to do, here it is.

“Developing Reputation Points with the Wife/Girlfriend/Family.

It is highly recommended to visit the “Isle of Dwellings” during your World of Warcraft game play and work on your Reputation.  No other Reputation is harder to acquire and maintain than this.  Mostly you will observe that unlike other reputation earned during game play with other factions, these points diminish over time once earned.  Hence you will constantly be working on “dailies” in order to maintain good standing.

Attributes to work on:

Agility – The ever so important ability to Dodge, Parry, and avoid any
contact with people from the Real World.

Attributes to avoid:

Spirit – Gives false sense of hope to anyone trying to avoid contact with
people from the Real World.

Calendar events:

Valentines – A must attend event.  Happens once a year on February 14.  The most Expensive, Demanding, Time Consuming Real World Event.  Your participation is indirectly proportional to the amount of earned time to play.  However; miss this event and watch all your Reputation points’ disappear.  Coincidentally, it is also the when the servers are at their best with nobody on (a farming bonanza).

50 pts earned upon completion, all pts lost for failure

In-laws – Random occurrence.  Complete disruption to playing time.  Even though the computer is insight and un-occupied, it is taboo to even acknowledge its existence.  Trying to entertain a male relative with your exploits, will earn you double deduction from both female counterparts.

15 pts earned upon completion – 250 pts lost for failure

Christmas morning – A very cruel event held once a year on December 25.  So she got you that custom WOW keyboard and new Video processor you always wanted, you will have to wait until everyone goes to sleep before you can install them.  While she is trying on those diamond earrings and clothes you got her and the kids tear into and break all their new toys, your attention must be devoted to changing batteries from annoying toys and complimenting how good she looks wearing those $800 earrings with matching $10 bathrobe and slippers.

75 pts earned upon completion, -5000 pts lost for failure
Bonus 25 pts for each $100 extra spent on her.

Taking out the trash – In order for this to work, you must first suffer -5 pts loss/day for not taking out the trash for at least 4 days.  On day 5, take out the trash and get +25 pts credit for “at least doing something”.  I know the math does not seem to add up for not doing a daily chore, but since when can women add.

Remembering to pick the kids up from day care – I know what you are thinking but look at it this way.  They are on the way home from work, so actually you are saving valuable game time by not having to stop playing and go get them at a later time. (+5pts).

Cooking Dinner (+10 pts) – First things first.  This is not to be confused with having food delivered (0 pts).  Despite the fact that you have gotten food she liked from her favorite place, all it does it remind her you are eating at home, not out. (+20 pts for eating out, btw).

Watching a “chick flick / kiddie movie“(+15 pts) – So you missed the raid because she decided to rent some movies on the way home from the grocery store.  You can earn some bonus points (+5 each) by stomaching and watching the “making of” and “deleted scenes” of Sponge Bob Square Pants, the Movie.  However; If you believe that you can earn points by watching that just released “The Borne Ultimatum” on “family movie night”, you are sadly mistaken (-15 pts).

Common Events

Server Down – Golden Opportunity.  Combine all of the above dailies and accomplish them in the same day.  Tell her “You just wanted to spend some time with her”, Bonus +300 pts.

Flight point from Tanaris to Darnasus or Shadowmoon to Netherstorm.  While you spend 15-20 minutes in the air, get up from chair, stop by the wife/girlfriend, and tell her “sweet nothings”, +8 pts.

Rare Events

Child/ significant other is injured and you ignore them, -25 pts.

Trip to the Hospital is required and you offer cab fare or say “Scars
are cool”, -500 pts.

Pipe bursts in the kitchen sink and you say you will call a plumber
tomorrow, -15pts.

Her little yippy dog gets out of backyard and you respond “It will find
its way home when it gets hungry”, -18 pts.

Significant other is horny – Warning: Do not be fooled by this. This moment is not for your enjoyment.  THIS IS A TEST.

So you just cleared the trash mobs, taken down 5 bosses in SSC, and you are getting ready to take down “Lady Vashj”.  You just got re-buffed, applied that superior wizard oil, popped those scrolls, and taken a 72G Flask.  For some reason the, the significant other starts displaying affection in your general direction.  Do not be confused with the timing of this event.  This is her test of hierarchy: Which do you love more, her or the game.  This is the most complicated maneuver in the entire game, so please bear with me.

Recognizing her amorous state on her first pass, +15 pts.

Recognizing her amorous state on the second pass, -20 pts.

Failure to recognize all of her amorous passes, -7500 pts.

Telling her to stop kissing your ear and playing with your hair, -550 pts.

Note: It is better to cause a wipe and blame it on “lag” (+10pts).

Respond to her in an amorous way after her first amorous pass, +25 pts.

Respond to her in an amorous way and telling her you will meet her in the bedroom after you take down this last boss, -7500 pts.

Note: BTW, when you go to the bedroom after you successful run, she will be dead asleep, your pillow in the hallway, and the door locked.

Wake her up and ask her what happened to her “mood”, -15,000 pts.”
