Least I Could Do

July 29, 2008 at 5:24 pm (Uncategorized)

Recently I found out about this comic from the guy’s over at LFG when they posted a video on how to find their booth at San Diego’s Comic Con! Damn them, why can’t we ever have something special. I’m just complaining since my town is always looked down apon becuase San Fransico is right next to us. Any, LICD is about Rayne Summers who’s ultimate goal … young ones look away … get “laid”. This is not a comic for the younger ones out there, so if you are young, aka, 14-, go away, now, I’ll wait …

He gone? Good, now, I checked out Least I Could Do and it’s actually pretty funny, not as funny as Richard and looking for group, but still … hilarious! Their newest video, “You’re Just a …” (Emo) is so funny it’s keeping me contained while Antonidas is down. Also, apparently these guys also create the CAD comics TGM just absolutely like totally love! Ctrl-Alt-Delete you twits … TGM? TGM as in The Geek Media! Go there now!

Remember now, not for the young ones so not my fualt if you get in trouble! This is the third time I posted this disclaimer. Think of it as RnD, yeap, it’s that bad.

AIDtoCHILDREN

This is another website very much like FreeRice.com that Mike Thorn mentioned in a comment to the FreeRice post, two posts down. You answer vocabulary questions and for each one you get right, you donate 0.25cents from the adds on the bottom of the page(s). “How does this help me?” you ask? If you are that mean and don’t care about the children, the site also helps you with words you don’t know to words you’re struggling on. This site is able to do this though the World Vision Relief Organization. So, if you want to help starving children, do better on your SATs, or just play for fun, go visit the site at AIDtoCHILDREN!

Please note: I have not clicked on any of the adds at the bottem so I do not know of what they are, or what they do. Now I think they are perfectly okay and are not “bad” adds, but I could very well be wrong, so click at your own discretion, or whatever the word is.

FFG – Grim

The wonderful game that came shortly after DnD version four. In this game, you play as a kid trapped in horrid places with nothing, but your wit and “Imagination” (Say as Spongiest as you want!). You can choose from a variety of characters such as (Let’s sing this like an Animanics song!) the jock, the nerd, the popular kid, the bully, or the outcast! The horrid place is the evil version of Lil’ Red Riding Hood & the Big Bad Wolf, to Humpety Dumpety and figure who wants to eat with you and who wants to eat YOU! Muahahahaha, but I digress. There aren’t just pre-made stories, you can also make your own, but those will also end sadly … :( It does not use d20 like die(oxide) like DnD, in fact, I think you need six regular six-sided die(oxide).

This may be the game for you, but it is not the game for me, I only use it becuase my friends don’t want to buy version four of DnD, :(

FreeRice

This is a neat little website that has you match words to the definition and for each word you get right, you get twenty pieces of rice put into the bowl to the right of you which from the sponsers around the site, pay to get the rice to starving third world countries. This helps them, and helps whoever plays this fun little addicting web browser game with the defenition of words. For instance, it was made for the SATs to study from becuase the guy who made this is also a father with a son taking the SATs. Go on and go play it. It’s a addicting game when you ahve nothing else to do! :P

After one night in Karazhan, yes Canadace, this is a somewhat WoW topic, so look away if you don’t want to read it! Anyway, after Karazhan, I was looking up in Google (Best search engine ever) for guides on the dragons aka Netherspite and Nightbane when I found this neat little guide. My guess is that it’s fairly new since they only have videos for some of the bosses, early mainly which means no “How-Tos” on the dragons, darnit! Anyway, if your a new level 70 and you don’t know how to do a certain fight in Kara, or Zul’Aman, they have the plans out for the ZA bosses, but not the video itself.

Please Note: I have looked thourgh the sites (at least the Kara and the main website) and have not found any gold farming, or gold selling adds, if you do, Off the Set, or Dieoxide are not responsible.

Role Playing

July 3, 2008 at 11:59 pm (Uncategorized)

Role Playing has been around before just about anything, but the internet has adopted it and uses it almost for anything! Whether it’s a game like WoW, AoC, CoH, CoV, Conquest of Heros?, etc … to even pretending to be someone else on a forum RP (i.e. ~*~The Crimson Rose Tavern~*~). I have fallen in love with role playing ever since I began my first game of DnD and it has expanded to WoW and to Gaia! Of coarse, as the RP grows, so do I such as language with words and spelling, unlike certain other people, cough cough Oxygen cough cough. Only time RP gets on my nerves is when people don’t speak proper english such as puntuation, or URGD as Candace and Leto call it. Leto, you mentioned it, she created it! Deal with it! That about sums it up for this time with Off the Set, good bye and have a happy rest of morrow.
